Wien (APA) - Die Universitäten haben ihre Einnahmen aus Forschungs-Drittmitteln in den vergangenen Jahren erheblich gesteigert. Seit 2007 wuchsen diese von rund 406 Mio. Euro auf 670 Mio. Euro im Jahr 2016 - das entspricht einem Plus von rund 65 Prozent. 

Eine neue Studie hat gezeigt, dass Deutschland in den MINT-Fächern internationale Quotenspitze ist. Dabei werden immer noch viele Studien abgebrochen. Kann und soll man diese Zahl verringern? Ein Gastbeitrag.
